Job Description
The Marketing Communication Manager specializes in crafting and executing strategies that effectively convey the organization’s messaging and values to its target audience. This role involves overseeing the development of all marketing materials, managing public relations, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all communication channels. The manager works closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to drive brand awareness and support business objectives.
Scope of Work
- Define marketing communication goals and objectives that align with the overall marketing strategy.
- Develop a comprehensive communication plan, including media outreach, digital marketing, and content creation.
- Ensure all marketing materials and communications consistently reflect the brand’s voice and messaging.
- Collaborate with the branding team to develop and refine brand guidelines.
- Oversee the creation, editing, and distribution of engaging content across various platforms, including websites, social media, and email marketing.
- Schedule and monitor the publication of content to ensure alignment with marketing campaigns and events.
- Manage relationships with media and oversee the creation and distribution of press releases.
- Coordinate PR events and interviews, and manage crisis communications when necessary.
- Facilitate effective internal communications to ensure staff are informed and engaged with the company’s marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies through analytics and feedback, adjusting plans as needed.
- Prepare and present reports on communication campaign results to senior management.
Applicant Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- Significant experience in marketing communication or a similar role, with a focus on content strategy, brand messaging, and public relations.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a communications team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in using digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
