Job Description:
- Establish policies and oversee all accounting processes in the organization, providing advice and ensuring adherence to PAEs, Financial Statement and SET standards.
- Prepare financial reports according to defined standards and deliver them to the related departments, checking for accuracy and completeness of data.
- Analyze profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Handle all matters related to tax and social security to ensure legal and regulatory compliance. Review and control the company’s accounting and conduct audits as necessary.
- Advise and provide consultancy about accounting and financial management to the team. Collaborate with financial experts to oversee accounting processes as necessary.
Scope of Work
- Define and oversee all accounting processes to ensure compliance with PAEs, Financial Statement and SET standards.
- Prepare and deliver financial reports as per defined standards to the related departments.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting data.
- Handle all matters related to tax and social security to comply with relevant laws.
- Liaise with financial experts and auditors as necessary.
Applicant Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting.
- At least 5-10 years of experience in accounting. Prior experience in a publicly traded company is a plus.
- Knowledge and understanding of PAEs, Financial Statement, and SET standards.
- Ability to train and improve according to SET standards or willing to train according to SET standards.
- Registered accounting practitioner (CPD) who can sign off as an accountant.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, accounting and financial software.
- Ability to prepare various financial reports and consolidated financial statements accurately and timely, and to analyze financial statements for executive management.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and tax laws.
- Proficient in English.
